The
diversity of the landscape from the world's highest
mountains to low-land plains means the Himalayas
are home to a wealth of wildlife.
Snow Leopard Trek can arrange a Jungle Safari
in Royal Chitwan National Park or trips to any
national park or wildlife reserve. With many
endangered species being preserved in Nepal,
one out of ten bird species traveling through
on migratory paths, and 100's of species of
butterflies the Himalayas are as diverse in
wildlife as it they are culture.
Promoting ecologically sound tourism is part
of Snow Leopard's charter to protect precious
wildlife. The staff encourages clients to take
responsibility to help minimize the impact of
bio-degradation in the Himalayan region.
"We had no idea that we would see so many
animals and get to ride an elephant when we
came for trekking in Nepal. Thank you for the
recommendation of our Jungle Safari add-on trip
and to our guide for letting us feed the baby
rhino."
